Radhavi Samarakoon is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Energy Geosciences Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. She is working on numerical modeling of coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) processes related to deep geological repositories for radioactive waste disposal. Radhavi received her Ph.D. from University of California San Diego where her research centered on a thermal soil improvement technique using laboratory experiments and constitutive modeling.
