Patricia Fox
Patricia M. Fox is a Principal Scientific Engineering Associate in the Climate & Ecosystem Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. An environmental geochemist by training, she obtained a M.S. from UC Berkeley and worked at the U.S. Geological Survey before joining LBL in 2011. Her research focuses on metal and radionuclide adsorption and redox reactions at the water-mineral interface as well as characterization and cycling of natural organic matter in soil and sediment systems. Patricia specializes in experimental work, combining laboratory and field experiments to help solve the most pressing energy-related problems, from effects of climate change on natural systems and carbon sequestration strategies to the safe disposal of spent nuclear fuel.
