Omotayo Omosebi is a Research Scientist in the Energy Geosciences Division at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research activities are at the confluence of data, numerical computation, and machine learning for rapid insight into energy-related subsurface processes in geologic carbon sequestration, geothermal and fossil energy resource development, spent fuel and nuclear waste disposal, subsurface energy storage, and groundwater hydrology. He has diverse research experience covering fluid flow in porous and fractured media, well test analysis, drilling & completions (wellbore hydraulics, wellbore integrity, and borehole geomechanics), carbon utilization & storage, and unconventional resource development with emphasis on reactive transport in shales, carbonates, and well cement.
